Community Foundation for Oceana County

The Community Foundation for Oceana County envisions an Oceana where everyone has access to resources to thrive. As an independent nonprofit organization, we receive and manage contributions from people, organizations and businesses. We have provided nearly $8 million in grants and scholarships back to the community since 1989. By assisting other nonprofit organizations through grantmaking and students of all ages through scholarships, the Community Foundation directs donor investments back into our community. Our focus areas include the arts, education, health/human services, community development, and emerging community needs. The Community Foundation is also dedicated to providing leadership and resources to initiatives with largescale impact, such as Oceana CAN!, Read early. Read often, Urgent Needs response and economic development community assessments.
