Hart- Pentwater Winterfest- "Get Your Freeze On"
Visit Hart and Pentwater during Winterfest 2012 and enjoy this year's fun new activities!
Winterfest 2012 kicks off on Saturday, February 11th in Pentwater with several great activities including: Pentwater Lake Perch Ice Fishing Tournament, Freezin' for a Reason Polar Dip to raise funds for Crystal Valley Care, Corks and Canvas Benefit for the Andre Bosse Center, Cross Country Skiing at Pentwater Pathways, and Live Music at the Village Pub.
The fun continues on February 17th & 18th with an all-sports weekend in Hart. Friday night kicks off with the 1st Annual Friday Night Lights Broomball Tournament (Registration Form Above). Schooners Bar & Grill will host a party for participants and spectators. The winner of the Friday Night Lights Tournament will play for the Winterfest Championship in Pentwater at 12pm on Saturday.
On Saturday head to John Gurney Park from 12pm-4pm to enjoy some freshly groomed trails, cookies, hot drinks and a fire at the trailhead. The fun doesn’t stop there, head downtown to the Courthouse lawn between 1-4pm to play a game of Snow-Putt Golf. Holes will be designed by local design teams. Play a game of snow-putt golf for FREE! Hole in one prizes, music and fun! Interested in designing a hole? Participate in the hole design competition for a chance to win $100!
Last but not least, participate in the 2nd Annual Hart Lake Ice Fishing Tournament. This year’s tournament will offer three competitions: Longest Walleye/Pike, Longest Pan Fish, and Youth Longest Fish of Any Species.
Other Saturday, February 18th activities will include: a chili cook-off at Cenzo's in Pentwater, Drag Show, and Beer Tasting Benefit for C.O.V.E.
