Any operating business in good standing (or individual wishing to support the Chamber) can belong to the Hart Silver Lake Mears Chamber of Commerce. Follow the directions below to complete the application process. Remember, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to Contact Us.
We offer the convenience of downloading the necessary forms directly from this web site. Alternatively, you can call or email us with your name and address, and we will send you the necessary forms by mail.
1. Download Forms
ALL BUSINESSES should fill out the Membership Application and the Business Listing Form below.
Bed & Breakfasts, Campgrounds, Cottages, Hotels, Motels, and Resorts should fill out the Icon Selection Form, available for download by clicking here. (Coming Soon)

2. Calculate Investment
To calculate the amount payable to the Chamber of Commerce for your membership(s), refer to the annual Investment Schedule below:

This membership is offered when ownership of the subsequent business is the same as the primary business. If the ownership structure is different from the primary business, the business must apply as a primary business. |

| Associate membership is offered to churches, retirees, public service clubs and non-profit organizations. | |
Types of payment accepted are check or money order. Cash payment is accepted when delivered personally to our office.
3. Submit Forms and Payment
After you have downloaded and completed all of the necessary forms and calculated your investment, submit the forms and payment to the Chamber. There are two ways you can submit your payment and application to the Chamber of Commerce:
- BY MAIL
Include all forms, and check or money order made payable to the Hart-Silver Lake/Mears Chamber of Commerce. Send by mail to 2388 N. Comfort Dr., Hart, MI 49420. - IN PERSON
Bring all forms, and payment in the form of check/money order (made payable to the Hart-Silver Lake/Mears Chamber of Commerce) or cash to our office located at 2388 N. Comfort Drive, one building from the corner of Polk Rd and N. Comfort Drive. Office hours are Monday through Wednesday, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM; Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You may wish to call 231-873-2247 in advance to make sure we are in the office.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
- On your Membership Application, you will be asked to specify the Category Listing your business falls into. To see the Business Categories the Chamber currently has, click here.
- If you own an accommodations-type business, including Bed & Breakfasts, Campgrounds, Cottages, Hotels, Motels, and Resorts, please download (or request if by phone or email) an Icon Selection Form. These icons will appear with your listing on the portion of the site devoted to promoting tourism in Oceana County. You may choose 10 icons.
- In the listing for your business on the Chamber's web site, you are allowed a 100-word description of your business. Please submit the final draft of this description in paragraph form, as it will appear "as is" on the web site.
As a new member, you will receive a welcome letter with important dates and information. As our newsletter is printed, you will receive a copy each quarter. Your business information will be included in our current brochure (printed annually) and listed on our web site. An ambassador will be in contact with you to see if you would like a ribbon cutting for your business, and to keep you informed of the events the Chamber is involved with. If you have an email address, you will periodically receive messages from the Chamber.
There will be an opportunity for your involvement in the Chamber by joining one of the many committees that keep the Chamber vital. This is your Chamber now and we need your input, so feel free to contact us with comments or suggestions.
