The Hart Community Performing Arts Series 2014 - 2015
Contact & More Info
“Mads & Markus” unites two young forces in jazz. Both classically-trained and originally from Europe, the two musicians now live in the United States, devoting their careers to this uniquely American art form.
San Francisco-based Mads Tolling is an internationally renowned Danish violinist, violist, and composer. He is a two-time Grammy Award-Winning violinist and founding member of the Turtle Island String Quartet.
Austrian pianist Markus Gottschlich currently belongs to the young lions of the Miami jazz scene. Like his own life story, Markus’ music reflects a unique blend of “old world” and “new world”. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, Markus grew up in what was once Beethoven’s apartment.
Season tickets for the 2014 - 2015 Hart Community Performing Arts Series will go on sale on Wednesday, September 3. As in previous seasons, priority will be given to returning season ticket holders and patrons. Those individuals and organizations will have until Wednesday, September 24 to renew.
Others seeking to become patrons or season ticket holders should submit an application as soon as possible. Those applications will be recorded in the order received and any season tickets available after September 24 will be distributed in that order. Although we have many returning season ticket holders and patrons, there have been a substantial number of tickets available in each of the past several seasons. Season ticket applications, along with a check payable to Hart Public Schools, should be returned to:
