Many people attend Cruz'in and stay the night in a local hotel and enjoy two days of festivities! This event is free to spectators. Cost is $10 to enter a vehicle. Entry forms are available online. Door prizes to all entrants and the first 150 cars receive dash plaques. Spectators are also invited to play trivia all day to win prizes! All proceeds are donated to local charities as well as the Grand Rapids Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp! Registration begins at 8am and awards are at 3pm. "Yesterday on the West Michigan Pike", an exhibit by internationally acclaimed photographer Vincent J. Musi whose work is frequently seen in National Geographic Magazine, will be on display at the Hart Area Public Library from May 27th through July 15th as part of a multi-year cultural tourism initiative.

One of the rediscovered pieces of history is the visionary effort of community leaders to create the West Michigan Pike nearly 100 years ago. In 2009 members of Beachtowns, Inc. from New Buffalo to Ludington decided to introduce their vision to have the pike designated as a Michigan Heritage Highway by inviting Musi, one of the nation's finest photographic essayists, to photograph the area. His striking color prints (40 pieces) capture the timeless beauty and traditions of this unique sliver of Americana.

Our 6th annual Art & Craft Show is bigger and better than ever. Join us and area artisians for this one-day event and see what's new in West Michigan. The Cedar Creek Kloggers will perform, with breaks, from 12-1:30 during the Art Show. Come enjoy a day of fun in New Era!

Ever thought about trying scuba diving? Now’s your chance to give it a shot!

For three weekends, the Double JJ will be offering scuba diving instruction at our Back Forty pool. Now’s the perfect chance for you to try it out! Lessons last one hour, during which you’ll become familiar with the equipment, learn how to dive, swim around, and play games, all in a safe & controlled environment. All of the necessary equipment will be p...rovided, so all you need to bring is a swimsuit and your sense of adventure!

Details: Classes will be offered at the Back Forty pool (Swimmin’ Hole) at 5:30pm on the following dates: 7/24, 7/25, 7/31, 8/1, 8/7, 8/8.
