FRIDAYS IN HART 2018
The Hart Historic District will once again host a series of Friday evening concerts,
beginning on July 13. The district is located at the cornerof Lincoln and Union Sts
and all shows begin at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge but donations will be
taken. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket.
JULY 13; SMOKIN' DOBROLELES. Abe Kurzer on dobro heads up this group of
string musicians whose repertoire ranges from energetic Bluegrass to Swing and
JULY 20; THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED. Mike Lenich does vocals and guitar with this
Mason County group that, specializes in folk, Americana and string band classics.
JULY 27; CATS AND JAMMERS. This crew of musicians is well known from
Ludington to Manistee. They gather every Thursday evening at the Custer VFW
where they play for an eager crowd of dancers.
AUGUST 3; SILVERADO. Woody Woodrum plays pedal steel guitar and the music
is classic country with a touch of swing. This band comes from the Muskegon
area and is a returning favorite on the series.
AUGUST 11; NORTHERN EDGE. Three generation of the Bromley family from
Walkerville will offer an evening of Southern. gospel music.
