Be Involved in the Hart-Silver Lake/Mears Chamber
Your Chamber of Commerce needs you. There are several committees assisting in the many activities and functions of the Chamber. All committee meetings are quarterly unless the need arises for the committee to meet more often. Below is a description of each of the several committees currently active at the Chamber. Ambassador Committee
The Ambassador Committee assists in welcoming new businesses to the Chamber; distributing plaques, participating in ribbon cuttings and business after-hour events, annual dinners and any other events the Chamber might plan.
Christmas Committee
The Christmas Committee assists with the Christmas parade, float decoration, Breakfast with Santa, decorating the booth and maintenance of the Candy Canes.
Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee assists with Vegas Night, the Parade of Homes, and any other fundraising events the Chamber is involved with.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee develops new member packets, helps in the recruitment of new members, visits existing members, assists in the yearly membership drive, and researches membership benefits.
Special Events Committee
The Special Events Committee works to develop new events for the area that would benefit the Chamber members and assist with those events.
Volunteer Committee
The Volunteer Committee works with the volunteers for the Chamber Information Booth.
Web Site & Marketing Committee
The Web Site & Marketing Committee assists in the marketing plan and web development for the Chamber, and programs to assist Chamber members with their web development
